  • The CampHire Marketplace connects camps with pre-screened candidates interested in working at camp. The platform was designed to streamline the recruitment process for camps hiring United States-based staff.

  • The Marketplace is designed for overnight residential summer camps of all types and sizes in the United States.

  • The Marketplace is not well suited for day camps. If you would like to enlist CampHire to recruit day camp staff, please get in touch with us to discuss a local search tailored to your needs.

  • After camp starts, existing candidates will remain in the Marketplace but no new candidates will be added. Users can leverage the platform for last-minute backfills and access historical information in the user dashboard.

  • CampHire sources candidates from across the United States. We leverage job boards, industry networks, social media, and our internal CampHire network to source qualified candidates for camp.

  • CampHire does not recruit international staff. We specialize in recruiting candidates from within the United States.

  • Reserving a candidate gives you access to the candidate’s contact information and provides you with a head start to engage with, interview and hire the candidate before others. You can reserve a candidate for up to 5 days and during that time, other camps can be added to a waitlist to reserve the candidate if they become available. Each user gets 5 reservations to use on any candidate in the Marketplace. Once the quota is reached, the user can free up a spot by either hiring or releasing a reserved candidate.

  • Every candidate is screened by our recruiters to evaluate skills, qualifications, and interest in camp. In addition, we confirm key logistics around availability, compensation, and travel.

  • CampHire does not conduct background or reference checks on candidates. We expect employers to conduct these checks as part of their internal hiring process.

  • There are two fees associated with the CampHire Marketplace, one is an enrollment fee and the other is a placement fee. The enrollment fee is $299/year and provides users with access to search for and engage with pre-screened candidates on the Marketplace. The placement fee is dependent on the job type and is only applicable to hired candidates.

  • Candidates do not have access to the Marketplace, but they are aware that their profiles will be shared on a platform giving multiple camps the ability to engage with them.

  • CampHire offers Executive Search services for year-round leadership positions as well as HR-related consulting services.
